303 Acid Techno Community
All over the world, you have small acid community's, but united in a network online we can promote acid music better. I don't know what possibilities the future will bring, but nowadays it is still hard living in Acid online. There is plenty of good Acid music to be found online. I believe the underground scene promote the "feel" of Acid Techno good. But unfortunately there is too little communication between the various acid organizations. Social Media is a good tool for this, but we must be careful not to become too dependent on these big organizations. Besides low rankings and importance in a hierarchy, I also run into problems with spam daily. (what is spam they let through and what is not is seen as spam) I have no idea what Facebook and YouTube are doing, but if they want to, they'll just turn off the tap. I still remember when it all went downhill with some Social Media, and now it's time for new forms of networks. Time will tell.
	Acid Techno - Social Media & Music sites   In social media, We have the problem that the underground music scene isn't an interesting revenue model for large companies like Facebook and YouTube. Their AI will therefore be programmed with low rankings, resulting in fewer people sharing it.   FaceBook - Facebook has the most Acid groups, but FB sucks ! It is not realy something for Underground Acid. But if you can live with that, FB gives a lot of info : old and new tracks, events, etc. The groups clearly vary in quality, but there are clearly a large number of useful ones. There are also support groups for TB-TR/RE users and for 303/808/909 clones.   YouTube - First of all the YT search engine sucks ! Pretty strange for a search engine giant like google (who owns YT). It's as user-unfriendly as it gets. Although better than FB, because you will find larger quantities of Acidtracks, unfortunately the low ranking also applies for Youtube. Sometimes I find real cool acid tracks with a few views ! Only if you know the right tricks or have a lot of patience, you can make success on YT. To be honest, I don't participate in that, I don't like tricks, I look for quality.   Twitter - Twitter has also groups these days, and the first acid groups trickle in. It's clearly an improvement for the acid network. But things haven't gotten any better on Twitter. Since that Musk guy took over, it really hasn't gotten any better. I usually have to push my post through several times. It's riddled with errors, and there's no growth anymore in the 303acid group where I'm a moderator. Personally, I'm also declining; I notice it's starting to empty out. But thankfully, the posts in the group are doing well and often have high views of over 1K.   SoundCloud - Soundcloud's search engine actually works quite well, so you found something quickly (see SC list). But here there is more of a lack of network, which did exist and ran very well. But unfortunately SoundCloud had problems with the music style groups. While things were going well, they pulled the plug and abolished the groups. After that, things never really recovered with SC. But still a good place for underground Acid Techno.   Bandcamp - I'm not really sure what to do with Bandkamp. You can sign up as a producer or a user. In hindsight, I think as a producer you have to sign up for both to get deep in their network. I should do that sometime. Besides offering your tracks and albums for sale, there are also various options to give your page its own style and placing links to your websites. There's also an Acid group where you can listen and buy Acid Techno. So my experience with social media is not always positive, but it is free, although you also have a paid version (which might be better). But unfortunately when you make music you can't do without it. And on top of that : there are not many acid related sites or music sites with an acid genre online. Resent teknocloud.fr (RIP) has gone offline with an acid genre and also acidoo.com (RIP) has gone offline, a heavy blow for the acid online community. From one day to the next, the sites no longer existed. Acidoo.com went to YT but their site is no more. More Acid Techno sites are disappearing than new ones are being created. That's why this site.     For other sites with Acid (Techno) genre > Facebook    > Bandcamp    > Freeteknomusic    > Teknocloud.fr (RIP)
